In our hectic world, meditation offers a valuable refuge.

At the heart of the Kanda Meditation is the conscious use of the life force, known as “prana” in yoga. Through this, we develop inner strength and experience a deeper connection to something greater than ourselves. We draw from our deepest energy reservoir, the “kanda”, as it is known in yoga.

The introductory level of this meditation practice is focused on grounding and protection and prepares for the higher forms of meditation.

To deepen the meditation, it is essential to practice it regularly on your own. To support this, I offer a 25-minute guided group meditation via Zoom early in the morning once a week. This session is included in the monthly fee. Alternatively, it counts as half a unit on the Ashtanga Yoga Plus ten-class pass or one unit on the ten-class pass dedicated to meditation and pranayama (corresponding to 9 €). If you participate without a ten-class card, the cost is 12 € per session.

If you’re in a different time zone, I will try to accommodate your needs.

My own meditation journey began over 50 years ago. I have been practicing this form of meditation almost daily for over 20 years. Its roots lie in Taoism, Tibetan Buddhism, and the teachings of my former teacher Christian Lamilhau. Under the name “Kanda Meditation,” I have integrated these powerful practices into the context of yoga and have been sharing them for over 10 years.
